Welcome to Greener Grass Therapies.

I am Bonnie, director, counsellor and AASW accredited social worker.  At Greener Grass Therapies, I believe that every person’s story matters. Life can bring seasons of uncertainty, change, loss, and growth, and sometimes we need a safe space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with ourselves.

With experience supporting individuals across a range of life experiences, I provide a compassionate and person-centred approach to counselling, recognising that our emotions, behaviours, relationships, and challenges are shaped by both our personal experiences and the environments around us.

I have a strong passion for supporting neurodivergent individuals and those navigating the diagnostic journey, including the emotional impact of understanding yourself in a new way. In addition to, supporting clients experiencing mental health and psychosocial challenges, emotional distress, childhood wounds, grief and loss, and the challenges that can arise during periods of transition and change.

I have experience working alongside children, young people, adults, families, and individuals navigating a range of concerns including behavioural challenges, women’s issues, career transitions, university pressures, school-related challenges, and the impact of environmental factors on wellbeing.

I believe that people are not defined by their struggles. My approach is grounded in curiosity, empathy, and the belief that healing often begins when we feel heard, understood, and accepted. Together, we can explore your experiences, build insight, develop strategies, and support meaningful change at your own pace.

At Greener Grass Therapies, the goal is not to become someone different — it is to better understand yourself, strengthen your connection with yourself and others, and create space for growth and possibility.

Once you water the grass at your feet, you no longer need to search for greener pastures — you begin creating them.
